Kyi Zaw Win
Kyi Zaw Win shows a great interest in technology since his high school days. He went to Singapore to continue his studies in Engineering at National Technological University (NTU) and National University of Singapore (NUS). Afterwards, he worked for Seagate and Western Digitals for 10 years before returning to Yangon in 2016.
Kyi co-founded Myanmar STEM Education Association (MSEA), which provide Science and Technology lessons to Myanmar public school. Kyi is also an Engineering Director at Newton Solutions Company Limited, which provide innovation technological solutions such as machine automation to factory process lines in Myanmar.
In July 2017, Kyi was the coach and mentor for Team Myanmar which achieved ranking of 6 out of the 163 teams at FIRST Global Robotics Olympics, the world’s first international robotics competition in Washington D.C., United States. He has been active in Myanmar maker community and has strong passion to promote STEM Education among Myanmar students.
